Terms of use
1. Who provides PlanGentle
PlanGentle is provided by Stefan Rosanitsch, Kriegerdankstr. 14, 96450 Coburg, Germany (“we”). Contact: stefanrows@gmail.com. These terms apply between you and us when you create an account.
2. What PlanGentle is
PlanGentle is a web app for planning one day at a time: quick capture, a Today view that separates fixed commitments from flexible tasks, a time budget, first actions and optional starting cues, an optional focus timer, deferral with review dates, reflections, and export and import of your plan. It has no native apps, reminders, recurring tasks or calendar sync.
PlanGentle is a planning tool. It is not a medical, psychological or therapeutic service and does not diagnose or treat any condition. The evidence notes inside the app explain what the design is based on and what has not been shown.
3. Your account
You sign in with an emailed link or with Google; there is no password. Keep access to your email account safe, because it is how you get into PlanGentle. You must be at least 16 years old. One person per account.
4. Free trial
Every new account gets one free trial of 14 days, starting at signup, with every feature included. No card is needed and nothing is charged when the trial ends.
5. Subscription, price and payment
- One plan, billed monthly or yearly at the price shown on the pricing page at the time you subscribe. Prices are in euros and include VAT.
- Payment is sold and processed through Stripe Managed Payments. Link (Stripe) acts as the seller of record: it charges you, issues your receipts and invoices, handles VAT, and appears on your statement. Link’s own terms apply to the payment.
- Your subscription renews automatically at the end of each period until you cancel it.
- If we change the price, it applies to new subscriptions only. Existing subscriptions keep their price unless we tell you at least 30 days in advance and you may cancel before the change applies.
6. Cancelling, lapse and your data
You can cancel any time from Billing → Manage billing. Access continues until the end of the period you have paid for. When a trial or subscription ends without renewal, your account stays open: you can read and export your plan indefinitely, but you cannot create or edit until you subscribe again. Ending a trial or subscription never deletes your plan. Refunds are described in our refund and cancellation policy; your statutory right of withdrawal is unaffected.
7. Your content
Your tasks, notes and reflections belong to you. You allow us to store and process them only to provide PlanGentle to you. We do not read them, sell them, use them for advertising, or send them to AI services. You can export them at any time and delete your account from the app.
8. Fair use
Do not use PlanGentle to break the law, to attack or overload the service, or to access other people’s accounts. Accounts have limits of 2,000 tasks, notes and commitments combined, and 60 reflection days, which the app states when reached. We may suspend an account that seriously or repeatedly breaks this section; we will tell you why and, where possible, give you the chance to export first.
9. Availability
We work to keep PlanGentle available and your data safe, but we cannot promise uninterrupted service. Planned maintenance is kept short. Keep your own export of anything you cannot afford to lose.
10. Liability
We are liable without limitation for intent and gross negligence, for injury to life, body or health, and under the German Product Liability Act. For slight negligence we are liable only for breach of an essential contractual obligation (one whose fulfilment makes the contract possible and on which you may rely), limited to the damage typical and foreseeable for this kind of contract. Otherwise, liability for slight negligence is excluded.
11. Changes to these terms
We may change these terms for a valid reason, such as a new feature or a change in law. We will email you at least 30 days before a change that affects you. If you object, you may cancel before it takes effect.
12. Law
German law applies. If you are a consumer in the EU, the mandatory consumer protection of your country of residence still applies. We do not take part in consumer arbitration proceedings (see the Impressum).
